One litre of Diesel Fuel can produce 2.68 kg of carbon dioxide.
Overall carbon dioxide emission from a Diesel car can be reaching 170g CO2/Km.

If a Diesel car can produce 4,600 kg of carbon dioxide in a year, then a 1.5 MW Diesel Engine will be able to produce 8,522,078.4 kg of carbon dioxide when running continuously for a year. However, if we change the power solutions to the hydrogen fuel cells, it produces zero carbon dioxide.

Carbon emission savings is equivalent to taking 1,853 cars off the road per year and 18,527 cars off the road in 10 years for every unit. This is why Hydrogen Fuel Cells can be a promising energy carrier to supply the energy demand of the world and concomitantly reduce toxic emissions.
