With four W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 34SG engines operating on natural gas fuel, the power plant is expected to encourage industrial investments in the zone, creating employment and future growth for the area.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em style=\"color: #70838f;\">&#8220;This is an important project for the region and the continued economic growth of Bangladesh through export enhancement as per the Government&#8217;s initiative. Growth throughout the industrial sector is very much dependent on having a reliable power supply, and the new power plant will provide this. W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 has an excellent reputation in this country with a strong presence to provide the support needed,&#8221;<\/em> said Mohammad Moyeen, Chairman, Sigma Powertech Ltd.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 currently has 5,000 MW of installed capacity in Bangladesh with over 200 company personnel employed.
