Power Partners Group Announces Philip Tan, BBM(L), as Managing Director

Singapore, March 2026 Power Partners Group (PPG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Philip Tan, BBM(L), as Managing Director, effective March 2026.

In his role as Managing Director, Mr Tan assumes overall responsibility for the Group’s strategic and operational direction, with a focus on strengthening organisational capabilities, driving sustainable business growth and advancing PPG’s development across Singapore and its regional markets.

Extensive Leadership and Regional Experience

Mr Tan brings close to 40 years of leadership and management experience across large multinational corporations and major local enterprises.

Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership and country head positions, bringing deep expertise in business management and organisational development, together with a proven track record of driving market expansion across Singapore and the wider ASEAN region.

His professional experience spans business transformation, management restructuring and organisational development, with a strong emphasis on talent development, nurturing leadership capabilities and fostering an environment where people can grow, contribute and succeed.

He has also driven business growth by expanding solution-led sales, strengthening after-sales and lifecycle service offerings, and deepening long-term customer relationships across established and emerging markets.

Since joining Power Partners Group, Mr Tan has been actively involved in strengthening the Group’s business direction, organisational capabilities and commercial development.

As Managing Director, he will continue to lead PPG’s transformation with a focus on building a stronger organisation, enhancing collaboration across its regional operations and developing sustainable opportunities that create long-term value for customers, partners and stakeholders.

Beyond his corporate leadership, Mr Tan is actively involved in social and community service. In recognition of his contributions to public service in Singapore, he was conferred the Public Service Star (Bar) — Bintang Bakti Masyarakat (Lintang), BBM(L).

Under his leadership, Power Partners Group will continue to build on its established engineering and critical power expertise while strengthening the capabilities required to support the evolving needs of mission-critical and industrial customers across the region.
