Power Partners Group Expands Regional Leadership
Singapore, August 25, 2025 — Power Partners Group (PPG), a leader in integrated power solutions for mission-critical industries, has announced key leadership appointments to accelerate its regional growth. The company named Mr. Eric Lau as Managing Director and appointed Mr. Philip Tan as Executive Director. These new leaders will strengthen PPG's position as a trusted partner for next-generation power infrastructure across Asia.
Driving Innovation as Managing Director
With over 25 years of international experience, Mr. Lau brings a strong background in renewable energy, smart grids, and digital solutions. He is widely recognized for leading business transformations and introducing new technologies in emerging markets. In his new role, he will guide PPG's strategic direction and oversee operations in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. He plans to focus on innovation and meeting the rising demand for resilient and sustainable power solutions.
Forging Strategic Partnerships as Executive Director
Mr. Tan joins the Group as Executive Director, bringing over 35 years of senior leadership experience from multinational corporations. His career spans regional positions in Southeast Asia's technology sector, and he successfully built strong industry partnerships. A distinguished leader, he has also been conferred multiple national honours, including Bintang Bakti Masyarakat (BBM) or Public Service Star (BAR), for his significant community contributions in Singapore. At PPG, he will spearhead business transformation initiatives and collaborations. This will enable the Group to better support clients in the rapidly evolving technology and industrial sectors.
